A Season of Change
As we enter into this season of gloriously colorful change, we’d like to keep you informed of some changes happening here at St. Anthony’s.
Many of you may already know that our Ministry Associates Coordinator, Marie Fleisner, decided to accept a job as an editor in Marshfield. While we are sorry to see her go, we are happy to know that she can put her writing and editing skills to good use a little closer to her home in Marshfield. Her last day was Friday, September 21st, and she will begin her new position in mid October. Please join us in congratulating her!
You may also know that our Communications Coordinator, Cheryl Mathis, has decided to pursue her passions of fulltime motherhood and freelance graphic design. We are sad to see her go, but delighted to know that she’ll have more time to devote to her family and to her creativity. Her last day at St. Anthony’s will be the 5th of October. Please stop by to wish her well!
In considering St. Anthony’s staffing needs, we have decided to create a new position, an Office Coordinator, who can take responsibility for some of the duties currently contained in both the Ministry Associates position and the Communications Coordinator position. Note that Susie Hubbard, our current Office Coordinator, is still with us; her job title has simply been changed to more accurately reflect her work: her title is now Hosting Coordinator.
As we experiment with staffing needs, our Director, Lori, will be the primary point of contact for volunteers and donors. She looks forward all of those volunteers, donors, and benefactors whom she has not yet had the pleasure of meeting – please stop by to say “hi” anytime!
The St. Anthony Spirituality Center in Marathon, WI seeks a full-time Office Coordinator to manage our database and retreat registration software, to assist in promoting retreats, to assist retreatants in registering and paying for retreats, and to provide general clerical support for the Center Director. The ideal candidate will be well versed in the Microsoft Office Suite, familiar with Windows 10, efficient in managing his/her time, comfortable multi-tasking and working with frequent interruptions, effective in communicating both orally and in writing, and comfortable interacting with diverse volunteers, guests, and co-workers. For more information or to apply for this position, please contact Dr. Lori Randall, Center Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 715-443-2236.
