Retreat for Mothers with Father Eric Nielsen
This is the Perfect Christmas Gift Idea for the Mom with Children at Home in Your Life!
January 18-21, 2018 | Cost: $200 | Only 45 spots available!
Motherhood is the most important natural institution of any healthy culture, yet it is often looked down upon, marginalized, avoided and even feared. How can women who are the primary caretakers of young children keep their peace and joy amidst a culture that gives them many conveniences but little actual emotional and practical support?
This retreat is designed to give women with young children time away to recoup and gain the spiritual insight to feel confident about their vocation as wives and mothers.
This retreat begins late Thursday evening and will conclude with brunch at 10 a.m. on Sunday. Cost includes overnight accommodations, delicious buffet meals and program fees. Nursing babies attend free of charge. Fr. Nielsen expects retreatants to attend ALL sessions.
Father Eric Nielsen has been the Pastor of St. Paul University Center since 2006 and a priest of the Diocese of Madison since 1995. The oldest of seven children, Fr. Nielsen grew up in Oshkosh, graduated in 1984 from the UW in Civil Engineering, and entered Mundelein Seminary in 1990. He is frequently featured on Relevant Radio and other major Catholic media.
