Serenity Retreat for Recovering Alcoholics
October 5-7, 2018 | $190
The four conferences will cover the concepts of powerlessness, walking with our Higher Power, journeying to wholeness, and accepting the invitation to do the next right thing.
This retreat is open to all recovering alcoholics of any denomination or persuasion. The program consists of talks, discussions, and private consultation opportunities. In relaxed surroundings, participants are guided to discover the serenity and joy of AA. Our serenity retreats furnish an opportunity to become acquainted with others and with your own spiritual needs.
Presented by Ruth Hoenick, a recovering member of AA and a grateful member of Al-Anon since 1986. She is actively involved in both programs in sponsorship and service work. Ruth is an active wife, mother, and grandmother who is active at the Jesuit Retreat House in Oshkosh as a retreat coordinator and chair of the Board of Directors. She is currently a Spiritual Guide in training through the Siena Center in Racine. Her background is in the education of children and adults as well as professional development of educators. Ruth is passionate about sharing her experience, strength, and hope with others in recovery.
This confidential retreat begins with Friday supper at 6:30 p.m. and will conclude with the Sunday noon meal. The cost includes overnight accommodations, delicious buffet meals, an ice cream social and program fees.
