It’s okay to make mistakes.
It’s okay to be wrong.
It’s okay to age
and it’s okay to get old.
It’s okay to have wrinkles and thinning hair,
dark circles under your eyes and sagging skin.
It’s okay to have a heart that beats irregular sometimes,
bones that creak and muscles that ache.
It’s okay to satisfy a craving for chocolate
and indulge in a greasy hamburger once in a while.
It’s all okay.
It is life and it is worth living.
It’s okay to change,
to try something new and to let go of the old.
It’s okay to say “I don’t know”
and it’s okay to be afraid.
It’s okay to question if God is still here.
It’s okay to know that you know He certainly is.
It’s okay time is running out
and it’s okay there is still so much life you want to live.

Thanks for your message. So timely as we all are in the beginnings of a New Year.
If we all lived and truly believed that God loves us as we are and that we need to love each as he/she is.
blessings on you.

I really needed this today. Thanks.
Thank you, Sallie! Good words.
Father Dan would often say,”God came into our messiness!”
It wasn’t about making us perfect but discovering how the messiness can be divine. Where did this idea of being perfect ever come from?
