The New Year is a time of resolution and renewal – a time to reflect on who we are, who we were meant to be, and who we would like to become.
These questions are central to our overnight New Year’s Eve Retreat. At this retreat, Fr. Tom Zelinski, OFM Cap will help us see that spirituality and prayer are wider than merely “saying prayers.” Instead, spirituality and prayer should challenge use to reflect unceasingly on questions not just of who we are but of how our presence in the world brings Christ’s Peace to others. Fr. Tom will guide us through a reflection on the role of self-image in prayer, helping each of us discover how our beliefs about and relationships to God and others are affected by our beliefs about ourselves.
The retreat also includes Holy Hour, a New Year’s Eve Countdown Party, and Mass on New Year’s Day.
Dates: Monday, 31 December, 6:00 pm – Tuesday, 1 January after the noon meal.
