I grew up in Waco Texas, where my parents were professors of German at Baylor University. My mom had a passion for music, so my siblings and I all sang and played stringed instruments. We formed a string quartet when I was fifteen years old and played around Central Texas for weddings and other events for about ten years. I attended Baylor and received my degrees in English and Information Systems.

While I was still studying at Baylor, I met my husband, who is from Merrill, WI, on a Catholic website. We got married, and I moved up here in 2003. We have four children: two girls and two boys. They attend school at St. Mary’s here in Marathon, where we have gradually gotten to know the community and made some wonderful friends. As our youngest has gotten older, I have been looking for an opportunity to use my skills in service of others. I see St. Anthony’s as a place where people can come to be fed and renewed on so many levels: spiritually, physically, emotionally, psychologically, and more. I believe this renewal is something we deeply need in our world, and I am honored and blessed to be here at St. Anthony’s in support of this healing ministry.
