I grew up in Marathon with St. Anthony’s being an important part of my life and an influence of who I am today. My love and joy of this place began with Fr. Ben Adams when I was part of the young adult group that met Sunday evenings. For me it was how he lived as a Franciscan and not always with words, just as St. Francis of Assisi did. Listening to the call of God and looking for a community that was Franciscan I found the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis from Stevens Point (SSJ-TOSF). Even though I answered my vocation to be a sister later in life God had and continues to have plans for me in how I can best minister to His people in His time and way. Being a religious is something that runs in my family my dad is now a Senior Deacon with the Diocese of La Crosse; my brother is a Capuchin Priest with the same order who built this beautiful place; I had a great uncle who was a Diocesan Priest and three great aunts who were Sisters/Nuns. God is good.

I attended NTC in Wausau were I obtained an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. For many years this degree took me to a variety of businesses and people from banking, to a car dealership, to manufacturing, to parish work and now to St. Anthony’s.

I am blessed and excited for this opportunity that God has brought me to. To help others also feel at home as they find a place to relax, re-energize their spiritual/physical/emotional life, learn new things, met new people, and grow in their relationship with God. Welcome to all!
