Stress Management as a Spiritual Practice

The spiritual path requires that we listen to the “small still voice” of Spirit within (Ps. 46:10). Stress management tools provide us with a way to slow down and quiet the body-mind so that we can hear that voice. In this workshop, we will explore a wide variety of stress management/resilience-building strategies designed to illuminate the spiritual path by aiding the never-ending process of relaxing, breathing in light, breathing out fear and of coming into fear’s opposite, which is love. (1 John 4:18).
Registration begins at 3:00 pm on Friday, followed by orientation at 5:45 and supper at 6:00. The retreat concludes after the noon meal on Sunday.
The investment for the weekend retreat is $230 and includes lodging in a regular room and six meals.
