The Broken Beautiful-Kintsugi Retreat

Based on the 15th-century Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold glue, Kintsugi is built on the idea that by embracing flaws and imperfections, you can create an even stronger, more beautiful piece of art. We may view our own brokenness as something that makes us less-than…but there is beauty in our brokenness!
Tammy will lead retreatants through the process of kintsugi while providing prayerful insight and reflection, inviting us to receive the healing love of God and extending that love to others. Bring your own pottery to break or choose from items we’ll have available.
