Volunteer Week

Lend your hands and heart and be a part of our mission: “St. Anthony Spirituality Center, a sanctuary for peace, hope, rest, and spiritual growth.”
Join other volunteers to build community, share some laughs, and help St. Anthony Spirituality Center care for our sacred space and grounds through seasonal housekeeping and building and grounds projects. All tools and materials are provided – just bring your energy, good spirit, and willingness to serve (and work clothes that can get dirty).
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Deep cleaning rooms
- Cleaning windowsills and screens
- Vacuuming
- Shampooing carpets
- Clearing out branches
- Garden and woods projects
- Grounds, woods, and trails clean-up
Join us for the week, just a day, or any timeframe in between! Daily lunch is provided for all participants. Meals and lodging are available for those who are able to help for several days. Work begins around 9:00am on Thursday morning, June 11; however, if you would prefer to arrive on Wednesday evening, please let us know when you call to register.
There will be an ecumenical morning prayer every day at 8:30am. Evenings will include an ecumenical evening prayer at 5:00pm and shared activities for those spending the night.
Please come dressed for work: closed-toed shoes, your favorite work gloves, and a water bottle.
